Carolina Herrera by Wes Gordon

Ladylike and elegant, but with captivating points of difference in the shapes and silhouettes. Playful volumes of sleeves and shoulders - shoulder pads a little 80s - square necklines, embroidery and party sequins. Also played with prints - animal print, fun florals - and colour.

A confident and capable lady who is in control of her day but likes to show personality as she knows people are paying attention to her.

Loved the floral prints and the tweed with print detailing, square necks and sheer textures.

Khaite

Dark, vampy, grungey take on glamour. She DNGAF and dresses accordingly. There is still a level of sophistication and femininity, leather trousers paired with a sultry transparent blouse beautifully embroidered with flowers, or the oversized contrasting ruffles on the LBD that scream 'look at me' while I walk past you. Hoodies with leather, crocodile-effect add an element of c*ntiness. waists are cinched, toes are pointed and shoulders are wide, but there is a demure code and a sultriness to each look.

Leather, as expected, plays a strong part in the collection, paired with textures including chiffon, velvet and more. Military jackets feature nonchalantly, pared down in a sheer fabric dress or monochrome.

Ashlyn - Ashlynn Park

While at first glance the prominent layering gives a slouchy effect, the precise styling of textures instantly elevates each look, removing any hint of carelessness. The abstract Prince of Wales print, asymmetric lapels and oversized fits cemented Ashlyn as the brand for the androgynous cool girl.

Altuzarra

Leather perfection. Trousers were high-waisted and the perfect straight-leg shape that just looked so good, especially when paired with chunky knits that sat just-so on the waistline.

A green pea coat with exaggerated lapels was effortlessly chic.

Several pieces embodied more of a bohemian style with large ruffles and swathes of lace that gave the collection a depth of femininity.

Textures were contrasted with ethereal, ruffled chiffons and thigh-high leather boots or opera gloves, adding just the right point of interest to seemingly simple outfits.

Fforme - Frances Howie - FW26

A collection that featured elements that pushed against Fforme's usual minimalism by playing more with proportion and bolder textures, from shearling to satin to faux fur, but still played true to Howie's effortless chic.

Outerwear was playful with wide skirts, but tailoring was kept impeccably sleek.

Gold hardware decorated several simpler pieces, making a strong case for the brooch trend.

A powerful yet understated woman with a sharp eye but no need for fuss in a busy city.

I loved the tailoring and outerwear, particularly the suits, while the relaxed fit of trousers affirms this laid-back style is sticking around.
